2015: Widespread in Northern Tanzania (Arusha, Manyara and Dodoma regions). No reports from southern Tanzania (G. Mahuku, IITA, 2015)
2016: Widespread in Northern Tanzania (Lake zone plus Arusha, Singida, Dodoma, Manyara, Kilimanjaro, Morogoro). No recorded incidence in Southern Highlands. (Mbeya, Ininga, Ruvuma disease-free) (J. Ndunguru et al MARI, 2016)
