First Report: 2012 (FAO, 2013; Kagoda et al. 2016)

2012/13: Reported from eastern Uganda, close to the Kenyan border. Confirmed presence in Busia, Tororo, Mbale and greater Sironko districts. Unconfirmed, but suspected presence in Kween, Bugiri, Budaka, Butaleja and Mayuge districts.
